BFG Meetup/Cole's Closet Fundraiser

Bloggers for Good is sponsoring a meet-up and fundraiser for Cole's Closet on Wednesday, October 21 at Finnegan's Bar and Grill in Ashburn. Tell them you're there for the fundraiser and 30% of your tab (drinks and food) will be donated to Cole's Closet. We'll also collect new, unwrapped toys.

The meet-up will be from 5-7 p.m. (or until people leave). The fundraiser is (wide!) open to the general public and will last all night.

Cole's Closet is an fabulous local charity that provides emotional and financial support for seriously ill children and their families. They take on projects like making hospital rooms more home-like and providing toys and activities for sick kids and their siblings. Here's one family's story about Cole's Closet.

So, if you're a blogger, we'll see you there from 5-7 p.m. We're hoping for a repeat of the great turnout at our last event, which raised over $600 for the Loudoun Interfaith Relief food pantry. Please publicize the event on your blog and feel free to post the graphic from the BFG site.

If you are an eater, come to dinner at Finnegan's that night. The fundraiser will last the entire evening; just be sure to inform your server. Finnegan's is family friendly and has a kids menu.
